Frequently Asked Questions

Every breast procedure is different so it’s always best to discuss the length of wear with your doctor.

Usually for a Breast Augmentation (BA) you will require to wear your compression bra for at least 6 weeks with textured implants (day & night except when showering) However, for smooth implants usually wear is for a minimum of 3 months, (day & night except when showering). For smooth implants we recommend purchasing a minimum of two compressions bras so you can alternate during each wash.

Breast reduction, Breast lift & Breast implant removal we recommend wearing La Twin compression bra for 6 weeks night and day (except during showering)

The La twin compression bra should feel comfortable however with enough compression to support your breast during recovery and beyond.

A front zip reduces arm movement for ease of getting the garment on and off. The two hook internal system gives you extra support and assist you to pull up the zip in ease.

Racer back and breathable material allows long wear to feel comfortable during your recovery time.

Padded shoulder straps to reduce pressure on your shoulders & extra comfort during long hours of wear.

Our La Twin bras come with breast pads however we suggest removing them & keeping in a safe place to use after recovery. So instead of the breast pads you can insert your breast ice packs when need be, La Twin created large enough cup pockets just for that reason.
